Managing Your COPAA/COPAALAW Mail
The COPAA/COPAALAW email lists tend to be high traffic at times. For people who cannot handle the volume of email from these listservs, there are a few options that allow you to get one email/day. You can also go to "nomail" status, in which case you will not receive any emails but can still access the archives. You can send an email to the list to change your options. The choices below indicate the appropriate email message for each option. Please make sure that there are no blank lines or extra text (including signatures) in the message.
Digest (one message with all the day's posts): Send an email message
to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG that says:
(Note: You must use exactly those words and there must be absolutely no other words in the email)
set copaa nohtml mime digest
or
set copaalaw nohtml mime digest
To return to individual messages, send the message:
set copaa nodigest
or
set copaalaw nodigest
Index (a list of all the day's posts, with links to them in the archives): Send an email message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG that says:
set copaa html index
or
set copaalaw html indexTo return to individual messages, send the message:
set copaa noindex
or
set copaalaw noindex
Nomail (you stop getting email but still have access to the archives): Send an email message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG that says:
set copaa nomail
or
set copaalaw nomailTo resume getting posts, send the message:
set copaa mail
or
set copaalaw mail
Please Do Not unsubscribe from the lists - if you do, you will no longer
have access to the archives.
